National Express offers direct services between Blackpool Airport and Birmingham and London. The drop off point at the airport is at the rear of the Premier Travel Inn, near the main terminal.

Direct services to Manchester, Liverpool and Leeds are also offered from Blackpool city centre, which is a short bus or taxi ride away from the airport.

It is worth booking in advance as National Express have removed the booking fee when purchasing your tickets online.

Blackpool Airport by Train

The nearest station to the airport is Squires Gate station, which is approximately five minutes walk away. Trains to Preston leave approximately every hour from this station.More regular trains leave for Preston from Blackpool north station which is a ten minute taxi ride away. From Preston, regular rail services can be caught to Manchester, Leeds, Birmingham, York, Edinburgh and London.

Blackpool Airport by Bus

The number 5 metro coastline bus operates between the airport and the town centre (and also runs near Blackpool North and South stations, for those wishing to travel on to further destinations.)
