The £2 million terminal building was built in 1995, replacing a wooden shack.

Check-in desks are located to the left of the entrance as you walk into the terminal building.

The departure lounge is situated to the right of check-in, with the executive lounge accessed through this. When departing from Blackpool airport, remember:

• Ryanair - check in 2 hours prior to departure
• Other scheduled flights - check in 1.5 hours prior to departure
• Holiday and charter flights - check in 3 hours prior to departure

Boarding usually begins around 45 minutes before departure.
